Aevocam creates a long-term photographic record of the things your business needs to keep an eye on. Point a fixed camera at a building, field, construction site, piece of infrastructure, equipment, or almost anything else that changes over time. Periodically send Aevocam a still photo, and we organize those photos into a visual history that can span months, years, or decades.
The result is a simple way to answer a surprisingly useful question: What changed here over time?
See changes that happen slowly
Some problems develop so gradually that nobody notices them until they become expensive. Vegetation grows. Structures deteriorate. Water levels change. Materials accumulate. Construction progresses. Repairs get made—or don't.
Individual photographs may show nothing remarkable. Put months or years of them together and the change can become obvious. That's what we call long-term condition monitoring.
Spend less time going there just to look
Sometimes you don't need another sensor, inspection, or video surveillance system. You just need to know what something looked like yesterday, last month, or last year.
Periodic photography can reduce routine site visits, identify problems earlier, verify work performed by others, help resolve disputes, and make better use of staff time. For remote or distributed assets in particular, avoiding even occasional unnecessary trips can produce real savings.
Not another security camera recorder
Aevocam isn't designed to replace your security camera system. Security systems are primarily concerned with what's happening right now and generate enormous amounts of video that quickly loses its usefulness.
Aevocam takes the opposite approach: a small number of useful images kept for a very long time. A photo every few minutes, every hour, or even once a day may be enough to build a valuable historical record.

The Aevocam camera feed player is built specifically for navigating long timelines. Scrub rapidly through time, step between photographs, play changes forward or backward, loop a period, change playback speed, or zoom in for a closer look.
Years of photographs become something you can explore in seconds.
Use cameras you may already have
Aevocam doesn't require proprietary hardware. Many inexpensive IP cameras can periodically upload still photographs directly to us, and our Home Assistant integration provides another way to use cameras and devices you already have.
Pay for what you actually use
Periodic still photography keeps data requirements small. You choose how frequently each camera takes photographs based on what you're monitoring, and Aevocam's usage costs reflect the photographic data you actually ingest and retain.
