Subscription Plan
The pricing model** is fairly simple:
A $50 flat monthly subscription fee (paid at the beginning of each month), of which up to $40 of that amount covers your monthly allowance. Image ingest charge is $0.01 per megapixel. Image storage charge is $0.005 per megapixel (about 2 MP for a typical 1080p image). Usage fees (image ingest and storage fees) that are over and above the amount of $50 USD are billed and payable at the start of the following month.
To illustrate how this subscription plan works, consider the following scenario:
Your camera sends Aevocam 10 photos at 2MP resolution each day, with 2 defined time slots (e.g. 10:30 am and 2:30 pm).
Aevocam only keeps 2 of those 10 photos, per its short-term culling policies.
10 photos X 2MP/photo X 1¢/MP X 30 days/month = $6.00 for ingest.
2 photos/day X 30 days/month = $0.30 added each month for storage.
By the end of month 2, that works out to $0.60 for storage, $0.90 for storage by the end of month 3, $1.20 at the end of month 4, etc.
